Conduit Design is a fusion of Artist Andrea Short and Engineer Robert Fear. Our aim is the production of Beauty. We are compelled to create art that gives meaning to our world. Contained within the pages of this web-site are images and descriptions of the works. We invite you explore and experience them.

All of these pieces of art were created out of the need to express great joy or sorrow. Although they convey those things to us it is not always true for the person being exposed to them. However you feel, please comment on them. Good or bad it helps us understand the world we serve.

The collection includes paintings, sculptures, and lighting. Each medium affects different aspects of an environment. A web-site provides an indirect experience. We apologize for the limited presentation. We consider this an introduction. Please look for our work in galleries and installations. Completed pieces are available for purchase. We also accept commissions for designs and completed works.

Illuminated Sculpture We have done our best to present the lighting-sculptures. The range of colors, hues, and emission patterns barely represent the experience of being in their presence.

Paintings As you view the images of the paintings please notice the size. None of the paintings are small and the vividness of the colors and contrasts are better viewed in person.

Sculptures Most of the sculptures are kinetic and many are large. We discussed including video within this website but that would only distract from the experience of the pieces in an actual space.
